    • 200g spaghetti (or any pasta)
    • 3 tbsp butter
    • 4 garlic cloves, minced
    • ½ tsp red chili flakes (optional)
    • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • Salt & pepper to taste
    • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Cook pasta: In boiling salted water until al dente (check package time). Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
