- 200g spaghetti (or any pasta)

- 3 tbsp butter

- 4 garlic cloves, minced

- ½ tsp red chili flakes (optional)

- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

- Salt & pepper to taste

- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Execution
Cook pasta: In boiling salted water until al dente (check package time). Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
Sauté garlic: Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic and chili flakes, cook for 1-2 mins until fragrant (don’t burn!).
Combine: Toss cooked pasta into the garlic butter. Add a splash of pasta water to make it saucy.
Finish: Stir in Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Garnish with parsley.
